You may have heard that ICBC is adding one more way to renew your auto insurance. Many drivers will be able to renew their policy online.
So, who’s eligible?
Initially, online renewals will be only be available to private passenger vehicles owned by one person and only for certain rate classes. That means leased vehicles and jointly owned vehicles are excluded from online renewals for now. Other excluded transactions include:
- Temporary Operation Permits
- New policies
- Lapsed policies
- Mid-term changes
- Cancellations
