33rd Annual Acera Insurance Golf 4 Kids Raises $150,000 for BGC Okanagan

Thanks to the unwavering support from local businesses and community members, Acera Insurance Golf 4 Kids continues reaching new heights, raising $150,000 for BGC Okanagan. This marks the biggest fundraising total ever since the inaugural event in 1990!

Three tournaments were held across the Okanagan between June and August at the Twin Lakes Golf Course in Penticton, Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club in Vernon and The Harvest Golf Club in Kelowna. This year, we introduced the Acera Insurance Golf 4 Kids Ball Drop. On August 9 at The Harvest Golf Club, hundreds of marked golf balls were dropped at once from over 20 feet by a boom lift courtesy of Nor-Val Rentals. One ball landed in the hole and the winner took home a WestJet flight voucher for two and a $2,500 cash prize!

All proceeds support BGC Okanagan's life-changing programs and services for local children, youth and families.
