Andrew became a partner with CMW Services in 2004 after 19 years experience with another large commercial broker where he was a Senior Vice President and managed the Construction and Development Unit. Andrew has been active with the real estate and construction organization and has spoken to many real estate groups on the topics of risk management and insurance. Andrew has a degree in Economics (BA) from the University of British Columbia, Associateship from the Insurance Council of British Columbia (AIIC) and a Certificate in Risk Management from the Canadian Risk Management Council.

Angela McKerlich is a Surety and Construction Risk Advisor. Angela has been working in the insurance industry over 30 years and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, is a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker and a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional. Through her experience, Angela has extensive knowledge of the risks facing complex construction operations. Angela lends her expertise to the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA), Southern Interior Construction Association (SICA), Northern Construction Association (NRCA), Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA), Construction Foundation of BC (CFBC), and the Surety Association of Canada (SAC) in various roles. Angela lives in Kelowna volunteers with a children's choir and loves to sing classical music.

Chris has 35 years experience within the insurance industry, working in both the underwriting and brokerage fields. As one of the founding partners, Chris formed CMW Services Ltd in 1994. Prior to this, Chris worked for an international brokerage as an Account Manager, Vice-President in the Contractor Services Division, handling the insurance, contract bonding and risk management needs of contractor and manufacturer clients. Chris currently handles a diverse practice consisting of contractors, developers and property management companies.

Dani Russell brings 10 years of insurance experience and expertise to her role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. Dani specializes in providing custom insurance and risk solutions to real estate and property development companies, seniors health care facilities and strata corporations. She is passionate about helping business owners grow and protect their businesses. Dani is a proud, active member of the Vancouver Board of Trade, Professional Association of Managing Agents, and Condominium Home Owners Association. She holds her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her young family and recently returned from a trip to build homes in Nicaragua.

 

David Green brings over 15 years of insurance experience and expertise to his role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. In this role, David specializes in providing custom insurance and risk solutions to the real estate, property development and natural resource industries. He is passionate about connecting with people and learning about their businesses. David holds a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation as well as an Executive Master in Business Administration degree. Outside of his professional life, David coaches children’s soccer and enjoys spending time with his three children.

James Brown is a Client Executive at CapriCMW. In this role, he provides custom insurance and risk solutions to a diverse clientele, specializing in the technology and construction industries. Born and raised in North Vancouver with experience in commercial insurance, he understands the unique local risks facing businesses and works with each client to protect their operations and support their goals. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing and International Management.

Mark began his career in 1994 with an international insurance brokerage in Alberta prior to returning home to Vancouver in 2001. With extensive experience developing and structuring of large, complex insurance and risk management programs in the manufacturing, construction, municipal and transportation sector he has extensive knowledge in all lines of commercial exposures and coverages. Mark's skills include providing clients with solutions beyond conventional insurance and making positive impacts on his client’s employees, customers and profits. Mark is a past Director with both the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters and the Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia. He is also a member of the Insurance Institute of Canada and the Global Insurance & Risk Management Institute. He is an avid hockey & baseball player and spends his free time coaching these sports throughout the year.

As a founding partner and Co-Chairman of CapriCMW, Peter Casey brings over 40 years of insurance experience and expertise to his role. Beginning in the mailroom of an international insurance brokerage, Peter built his illustrious career from the ground up. Currently, Peter provides custom insurance and risk solutions for his long-term clientele in property development, construction and manufacturing and specializes in complex liability risks. He also holds a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Outside of his professional life, he has a keen interest in ice hockey, golf and tennis.

Rob McFarlane brings over 30 years of insurance and risk management experience to his role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. He provides custom insurance and risk solutions to a diverse clientele. Rob specializes in firms whose risk profile and/or corporate culture require attention to detail in an efficient and well-executed insurance and risk management plan. He is passionate about connecting with people and is highly involved in his professional and local communities. He serves on the BC Advisory Board of the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Association, Chair of the Langley Board of Education and Chair of the Kiwanis Club of Vancouver Seniors Housing. Rob also holds his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and  Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations  as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University.  Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time on the water and building 'stuff'.

Robert began his insurance career with CapriCMW in 2003 as an Associate Account Manager. Since then, Robert has held positions as a Commercial Marketer and Account Manager, specializing in complex manufacturing, construction, wholesale/distribution and commercial properties. His extensive expertise on the issues faced by these industries has proven to be a significant asset to his clientele in his current role as Client Executive, Vice President. He is actively involved as a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of BC and the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Association. Outside of his professional life, Robert is an avid football and hockey player as well as a strong advocate for health and fitness. He is a certified CrossFit coach and strives to help others achieve healthy lifestyles. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University and a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation.

Ted Murray brings 30 years of insurance experience to his role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. He specializes in construction insurance and contract bonds. In this role, he is passionate about his long-term relationships with clients and acting as a trusted member of their teams. He is a proud, active member of the BC Construction Roundtable and the Vancouver Regional Construction Association. He is also a graduate of the BCIT Marketing Management program. Fun fact – Ted started working at only 11 years old - during his summers between school years.
