Strata/Commercial Advisor (Burnaby)

Job Summary

The Strata/Commercial Advisor assists the Client Executive(s) in providing the highest quality service to CapriCMW clients; mentoring and coordinating the administrative and marketing processes within their sales team

Essential Job Functions

  • Creates & executes client service plans, service deliveries, ensuring commitments are tracked and reported in a unified and meaningful way to the client
  • Monitors client satisfaction through maintaining relationships
  • Contributes in regular meetings with team to ensure you are up to date on all pending client issues, changing needs, implementing service plans, and other issues
  • Fields client communication via snail mail, email, phone and/or face to face and identifies clients insurance requirements
  • Creates proposals for clients and prospective clients that demonstrate CapriCMW’s unique approach to mitigating business risk
  • Educates clients to ensure they understand their business risks and insurance coverage
  • CapriCMW Leader in the client and insurance industry through professional writing, speaking and networking engagements
  • Supports processes and procedures and past practices; participates in team meetings
  • Advocates for changes and additions to service plans that increase value for clients

Marketing Administrative Support (within the Team)

1. New and Renewal Business
2. Policy Changes and Certificates

  • Process policy change and certificate requests with guidance from CSM as needed
  • Complete the policy change process with guidance CSM as needed

Other Functions

1. Provide back-up support to other department members
2. Participate in learning opportunities to develop skills and knowledge
3. Participate in Company functions and meetings
4. Participate in Company performance review process
Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested

Competencies & Qualifications

  • Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools resources and information
  • Self-guided learner & solves problems with real solutions
  • Level 2 BC Broker License
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Construction experience would be considered an asset
  • Working knowledge of insurance document management software
  • Skilled user of Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
