CapriCMW is a proud partner of Accelerate Okanagan and we are very excited to be a sponsor for "Hacking Housing" on June 23, 2022!
During this full-day event, participants will work in teams to develop innovative solutions and business ideas that address affordable housing in the Okanagan.
Teams will be introduced to the Design Thinking process, a powerful methodology that can yield solutions and prototypes within hours. With the support of mentors, each team will develop pitches and present to a panel of expert judges. The public pitch event will feature keynote speaker Paula Quinn, the Executive Director of the KF Aerospace Centre for Excellence. Judges will have the difficult task of reviewing all pitches and deciding on the winning team.
Community members of all skill sets and backgrounds are encouraged to participate in "Hacking Housing" (diverse teams with multiple perspectives tend to have the most success). Register here to join the Hackathon - there is no fee for participating.
