CapriCMW is a proud partner of Accelerate Okanagan and we are very excited to be supporting the upcoming OKGN Angel Summit, a 10-week program designed to educate both startup entrepreneurs and accredited investors on the capital raising process.

Through a series of structured investor meetings that include company reviews, founder pitches, and due diligence sessions, participating companies will learn to effectively build relationships with prospective investors and get prepared for investment. Meanwhile, participating investors are trained on vetting companies, providing feedback, and performing due diligence.

Following an initial review by investors, 24 businesses will be chosen as quarter-finalists (although all participants will be invited to attend further training). In the weeks that follow,  the finalists will be narrowed down to the last six and the program will come to an end with the Finale on March 16, 2022. During this event, the final six businesses will give 5-minute pitches to an audience of community members and a winner will be chosen to receive an investment of up to $250,000!
