CapriCMW Partners with Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC to Offer New, Exclusive Benefits to OSSE-Certified Members
CapriCMW is very excited to be partnering with the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC on a new insurance and risk management program exclusively for Alliance members that achieve Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence (OSSE) certification.
What is OSSE?
Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence (OSSE) is the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program for BC manufacturers and food processors. The program rewards employers whose OHS system meets the stringent requirements of the OSSE audit. Safety is a building block for sustainability. With today’s aging workforce and negative unemployment, your investment in safety is a critical factor in your company’s reputation, culture and financial security.
Through OSSE certification, companies can earn a 10 percent annual rebate on their WorkSafeBC insurance premiums. Our new partnership with MSABC adds even more value to being an Alliance member and achieving OSSE certification.
With decades of experience and specialized expertise protecting manufacturers and food processors across BC, CapriCMW Risk Advisors have designed this program to specifically address the biggest risks facing this industry. The benefits offered are unique to this program and include substantial limits of coverage for:
- Manufacturers Errors and Omissions
- Product Recall Expenses
- Cyber Liability
Sudden and Accidental Pollution
OSSE-CERTIFIED ALLIANCE MEMBERS WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OFFERING MAY ALSO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A RETROACTIVE REBATE ON THEIR NET PROPERTY INSURANCE PREMIUMS.
“As critical as workplace health and safety is to business sustainability, companies invest substantial time and resources into achieving OSSE certification,” said Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC CEO Lisa McGuire. “We are thrilled to partner with CapriCMW to help offset that investment through this valuable new benefit.”
“We are very excited to be partnering with the Manufacturing Safety Alliance of BC,” said Andrew Kemp, President at CapriCMW. “CapriCMW has been working and actively involved with the manufacturing industry in BC for decades,” Kemp added, “and we are thrilled at the opportunity to bring this offering to organizations dedicated to the health and safety of their workplaces. We look forward to building an ongoing and rewarding relationship with the Alliance to deliver even more value to members in the future.”
