As a group retirement advisor at CapriCMW, Amar designs and delivers effective retirement plans that support his clients in retaining and recruiting quality employees.  He helps employees understand all the benefits that their plan has to offer while positioning them for a successful retirement. As an advisor, his goal is to help clients apply best practices and proactively manage their retirement program in an efficient, cost-effective way.

Amar has specialized in group retirement services since 2007, having worked with one of the largest insurance companies in Canada.  During his tenure, he held several roles, which allowed him to see every aspect of the business.  Working with business owners, leaders of finance and human resources has provided him with the opportunity to gain insight on how an employee retirement plan aids the long term success of a business.

Andrew became a partner with CMW Services in 2004 after 19 years experience with another large commercial broker where he was a Senior Vice President and managed the Construction and Development Unit. Andrew has been active with the real estate and construction organization and has spoken to many real estate groups on the topics of risk management and insurance. Andrew has a degree in Economics (BA) from the University of British Columbia, Associateship from the Insurance Council of British Columbia (AIIC) and a Certificate in Risk Management from the Canadian Risk Management Council.

Angela McKerlich is a Surety and Construction Risk Advisor. Angela has been working in the insurance industry over 30 years and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, is a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker and a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional. Through her experience, Angela has extensive knowledge of the risks facing complex construction operations. Angela lends her expertise to the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA), Southern Interior Construction Association (SICA), Northern Construction Association (NRCA), Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA), Construction Foundation of BC (CFBC), and the Surety Association of Canada (SAC) in various roles. Angela lives in Kelowna volunteers with a children's choir and loves to sing classical music.

As a Group Benefits, Pension & Wellness Advisor at CapriCMW, Bruce partners with business leaders to develop custom group benefit and group retirement programs that align with their organizational goals and support talent acquisition and retention.

Bruce is passionate about helping businesses grow and works with them to maximize the value of their benefits and retirement plans. This ensures programs are efficiently managed with employees feeling rewarded and appreciated for their loyalty and service. He stays on top of industry trends and remains dedicated to his ongoing training and education, so clients can feel confident they have received professional and relevant advice in their best interests.

Prior to beginning his career in group benefit and retirement services, Bruce a graduate of UBC, played professional baseball for five years as part of the Cincinnati Reds organization. He credits his time as an athlete for lessons in teamwork and leadership that he carries with him to this day.

Outside of his professional life, Bruce has been involved with Challenger Baseball and Miracle League Baseball which provide children with mental and physical disabilities access to the sport in a safe and fun environment.

Chantell Arsenault is a Group Benefits, Savings & Wellness Advisor with CapriCMW. In her role, she helps businesses create effective and measurable programs that align with organizational values, goals and budgets, leveraging traditional group insurance, health and wellness spending accounts, as well as group savings and retirement plans.

Chantell has a passion for helping entrepreneurs develop their businesses. In 2011, she began specializing in helping employers navigate the complexities of employee benefits. She started her benefits career with the largest group benefits insurer in Canada where she held several roles and worked with clients across BC and Ontario.

Upon joining CapriCMW’s Benefits Division in 2018, Chantall has been bringing her expertise, innovative ideas and customer-centric practices directly to clients and making a difference in their businesses. She works in partnership with all stakeholders involved from owners and executives to human resources and finance departments, and delivers a bar-setting client experience, a transparent process for measuring ROI, cost efficiencies and best practices for employee onboarding and ongoing employee experience.   

She is an active board member of Kelowna Women in Business and when it’s time to have fun and relax, you can find her enjoying the beautiful Okanagan outdoors with her family, or at a local winery. 

Chris has 35 years experience within the insurance industry, working in both the underwriting and brokerage fields. As one of the founding partners, Chris formed CMW Services Ltd in 1994. Prior to this, Chris worked for an international brokerage as an Account Manager, Vice-President in the Contractor Services Division, handling the insurance, contract bonding and risk management needs of contractor and manufacturer clients. Chris currently handles a diverse practice consisting of contractors, developers and property management companies.

Dani Russell brings 10 years of insurance experience and expertise to her role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. Dani specializes in providing custom insurance and risk solutions to real estate and property development companies, seniors health care facilities and strata corporations. She is passionate about helping business owners grow and protect their businesses. Dani is a proud, active member of the Vancouver Board of Trade, Professional Association of Managing Agents, and Condominium Home Owners Association. She holds her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her young family and recently returned from a trip to build homes in Nicaragua.

 

David Green brings over 15 years of insurance experience and expertise to his role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. In this role, David specializes in providing custom insurance and risk solutions to the real estate, property development and natural resource industries. He is passionate about connecting with people and learning about their businesses. David holds a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation as well as an Executive Master in Business Administration degree. Outside of his professional life, David coaches children’s soccer and enjoys spending time with his three children.

Donna-Lea Billesberger brings over 30 years of personal insurance experience to her role as Client Executive, Vice President for Private Client Services. In this role, she specializes in helping clients protect their lifestyle and high value assets. Beginning with a personal risk analysis and audit, she works one on one with each client to design a custom, comprehensive solution. Donna-Lea is passionate about serving her clients with a personalized, hands-on approach and building long-term relationships. She is a member of the Floating Home Association of BC and holds a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys the outdoors and hopes to begin traveling more.

Gordon Li brings 25 years of insurance experience and expertise to his role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. He specializes in custom insurance and risk solutions for residential and commercial strata corporations, commercial properties, recreational resorts as well as manufacturing and distribution companies. He is passionate about helping his clients navigate the complex world of insurance. Gordon is a proud, active member of Professional Association of Managing Agents, Building Owners and Managers Association and Condominium Home Owners Association. He also holds the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designations. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time and cooking with his friends and family.

Grant Pritchard brings 20 years of insurance experience and expertise to his role as Client Executive, Vice President at CapriCMW. In this role, Grant specializes in providing custom insurance and risk solutions to residential and commercial strata corporations. He leverages his prior experience as an independent claims adjuster to serve as an advocate for his clients and help them recover from significant losses. Grant is a proud, active member of the Professional Association of Managing Agents, Building Owners and Managers Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management. He also holds a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation. Outside of his professional life, he acts as a coach for his son’s lacrosse teams as well as an assistant coach for minor’s hockey ages 6 to 9.

James Brown is a Client Executive at CapriCMW. In this role, he provides custom insurance and risk solutions to a diverse clientele, specializing in the technology and construction industries. Born and raised in North Vancouver with experience in commercial insurance, he understands the unique local risks facing businesses and works with each client to protect their operations and support their goals. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing and International Management.
